A new platform dedicated to uplifting stories and positive change will officially step into the spotlight this fall.
Krista Martinelli, founder and editor of AnotherDoorOpens.com, will celebrate the publication’s launch with Another Door Opens “Fun Raiser”: A Red Carpet Affair on Saturday, November 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Common Ground Community Development in Lake Worth Beach.
Guests are invited to dress up, walk the red carpet and enjoy an elegant evening celebrating artistry, philanthropy and community. The festivities will include gourmet passed appetizers, poetry, live musical performances, a multimedia presentation, curated prizes and special surprises.
The evening will also give back. Fifty percent of every ticket sold will directly benefit three nonprofit organizations, extending the platform’s mission from storytelling into tangible community support.
AnotherDoorOpens.com shares uplifting stories about nonprofit organizations, philanthropists, community leaders, artists and changemakers—both locally and around the world.
Through interviews, profiles and inspiring features, the online publication shines a light on people who are creating opportunities, strengthening communities and opening doors for others.
Martinelli brings extensive publishing and community storytelling experience to the venture. Before launching AnotherDoorOpens.com, she served for 20 years as the founder and editor of Around Wellington. Her new publication allows her to focus more fully on nonprofit organizations and individuals making a meaningful difference—work she describes as her favorite kind of storytelling.
The launch celebration reflects that same spirit. It is designed to be more than an introduction to a new publication; it is an opportunity for artists, nonprofit supporters, community leaders and neighbors to meet, celebrate and contribute to worthy causes.
Because when one door closes, another opens—and this November, a new door is opening in Lake Worth Beach.
