Greater Lake Worth is not an incorporated city with official municipal boundaries. It is the name we use for the broader community of neighborhoods, residents, businesses and organizations surrounding the Lake Worth Road corridor in central Palm Beach County.

For the purposes of Greater Lake Worth Living, the Greater Lake Worth Society and The Affidian Institute Foundation, our primary area of focus extends:

• From Forest Hill Boulevard in the north to Hypoluxo Road in the south

• From Military Trail in the east to State Road 7/US 441 in the west

• With Jog Road and Lake Worth Road serving as a central point within the area

Our primary service area includes ZIP codes 33463 and 33467, along with applicable portions of neighboring 33449.

These boundaries define our principal editorial, business and community-engagement area. They are not intended to create a new legal or governmental designation, nor do they exclude meaningful stories and relationships immediately beyond those roads.

We use the name Greater Lake Worth because the people who live and work throughout this area share schools, roads, businesses, restaurants, parks, houses of worship, community organizations and everyday experiences—yet they do not all live within the municipal boundaries of the City of Lake Worth Beach.

Many residents have Lake Worth mailing addresses while living in unincorporated Palm Beach County. Others live in neighboring communities but work, shop, dine, attend school, receive services or participate in activities throughout this same geographic area.

Greater Lake Worth gives us a practical way to describe the connected community we serve.

Our purpose is not to replace an existing city, government or community identity. It is to create greater visibility, communication and connection among the people and organizations already sharing this part of Palm Beach County.
